When you capture a screen shot from RealOne Player or RealPlayer, the Player video window will not show the video image that was playing at the moment you captured the screen shot. In order to capture a screen shot that includes the image from the video window, you must disable the optimized video option in the Player. You can disable the optimized video option by following the instructions below for your version of RealPlayer or RealOne Player...
RealPlayer 10
1. Open RealPlayer and click the Tools menu, then Preferences.
2. In the Category panel, click Hardware.
3. In the Video Card Compatibility section, move the slider all the way to the left to Most reliable, which disables optimized video and overlays.
4. Click OK.
5. Exit and then Restart RealPlayer.
RealOne Player v2:
1. From the Tools menu, choose Preferences.
2. In the Category panel, click Hardware.
3. In the Video Card Compatibility section, move the slider all the way to the left to Most Reliable, which disables optimized video and overlays.
4. Click OK.
5. Exit and then restart RealOne Player.
RealOne Player:
1. From the Tools menu, choose Preferences.
2. In the Category panel, click Hardware.
3. On the Hardware panel, click to clear the Use Optimized Video check box.
4. Click OK.
5. Exit and then restart RealOne Player.
RealPlayer 7, 8:
1. From the View menu, choose Preferences.
2. Click the Performance tab.
3. Click to clear the Use Optimized Video check box.
4. Click OK.
5. Exit and then restart RealPlayer.
RealPlayer G2:
1. From the Options menu, choose Preferences.
2. Click the Performance tab.
3. Click to clear the Use optimized video display check box.
4. Click OK.
5. Exit and then restart RealPlayer.
